Hello, I am Monique DeFrees and I will be teaching reading and writing. I am a graduate of Montgomery County Public Schools. I have an Elementary/Special Education degree from Washington Adventist University. Before I came to NCC, I worked at Beall Elementary School for 9 years and subbed at Bethesda Elementary and Carl Sandburg Elementary.

I have two daughters, Jamie, in 8th grade, and Alex, in 11th grade. My one son, Sam, is a freshman at Towson University. I enjoy music, camping, hiking with my dog, reading, and hanging out with my friends.
